Meet the HAP Team
Two colleagues. One mission. Real, grounded, community-based support.

Cory
Peer Mentor, Face of HAP
Host of Cory's Corner · Peer Circle Facilitator
Cory is the heart and voice of Hopeful Authentic Pathways. Drawing on his own lived experience with mental health and addiction, he connects with clients in a way that no clinical setting can replicate. He hosts the Cory's Corner video series, facilitates peer-led integration circles, and is often the first face someone sees when they reach out to HAP.

Gertie
Therapy Dog
Temperament-Assessed · Animal-Assisted Activities
Gertie is HAP's four-legged colleague and secret weapon. Temperament-assessed and ready for sessions, she brings a calming, unconditional presence that helps clients open up, regulate emotions, and practice safe attachment. Gertie travels island-wide and is a core part of our animal-assisted activities programming.
